Pretend you are about to get a new pet. Which animal would you pick, and what would you name it?

Salad
On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being highest, how much do you enjoy getting all dressed up for a special occasion?

Main Course
What kind of music do you listen to while you drive?

Dessert
When was the last time you bought a clock? And in which room did you put it?

Check the comments for my responses. what say you?

Appetizer: The Roadrunner and the Coyote on the Bugs Bunny show and that little martian dude on the Bugs Bunny show.

Soup: Hmmmm, perhaps a cat?! Are you surprised? Yeah, I didn't think so. I don't want any more pets right now, but I have always loved my kitties. A good name might be Penelope.

I wouldn't turn down a miniature Dachsund or a Dove cote full of white doves either ;-)

Salad: I do enjoy dressing up for a holiday, so I would say about an 8.

Main course: I listen to Patricia Murray while I drive. She has a beautiful Celtic voice that is very soothing. I have also been known to listen to Shawn's cds that are always in the car. They are dance/trance/club music. They've got some good base!

Dessert: Probably my alarm clock. It's right next to my bed. Clocks are overrated. I sometimes want to do away with them all except the alarm clock. I'd love to train myself to tell the time by the look of the sky.

Snoopy

Soup
La! A cat of course. Name? I would never be able to name a cat without getting to know her first!

Salad
4--I use to like to dress up and go out; I guess I've become a country bumpkin.

Main Course
Christian radio, the Enya CD I got for Christmas, and a few classical works like Mahler

Dessert
I purchased one for my dh for when he traveled. He keeps it in the bedroom. My bedroom clock has died. Instead of buying a new one, I have chosen to plug my cell phone in next to my bed. I always thought I wanted a grandfather clock, but I don't think I do any more. LOL!

Your art is beautiful :-)

Jean, I hope you're feeling better tonight!

I know what you mean about pre-naming a cat. It just won't do. Do you know the poem "The Naming of Cats"? It is a favorite of mine.

I really like Enya too. Dd has just about all of her music.

Dh often uses his cell as an alarm clock too, must be one of those INTP things ;-)

Appetizer: Prolly Sponge Bob

Soup: I would get a koala and I would name her Koala

Salad: 9

Main Course: I only listen to Club and Dance music. Anywhere

Dessert: I have never bought a clock and as you can imagine I didn't put it anywhere.

Shawn

Shawn, you're killin' me!

A koala? What, no lemur or chinchilla?

Yeah, your music has permeated the leather seats in the car. ;-)

Love ya,
mom

Appetizer: Yosemite Sam on Bugs Bunny

Soup: I would get a rock and name it Stone

Salad: 10, because I don't have to do it very often, and because I paid so much for the clothes.

Maine Course: (Just can't take the Maine out of the boy) Dance, trance, and take-a-stance music, i.e. Shawn's music because it's always in the player, but I do like it.

Dessert: A real clock...hmmm...I really can't remember...well, time to go!

BTW.. I've arrived in Amsterdam, and I'm sitting in the lounge. I thought this would be a fun little update, but I really shouldn't answer these when I'm this tired!

Earle,

I see you've had enough of pets...

Glad to know you've arrived in Amsterdam. Of course, now, by the time I'm up, you're probably in Germany. Get some sleep ;-)

Cartoon... none stick out as being particularly enjoyable. Maybe Hey Arnold?

Soup
I would get a new fish for my tank since the population recently declined. I'd name it Fish, like the rest of them.

Salad
Definitely 9. Dressing up is great.

Main Course
Anything from hard Christian rock, to Enya, to bagpipes.

Dessert
I bought a watch, and its currently in the living room on my wrist.

hehe. a rock. and name it Stone. LOLOL!! methinks my hubby's answer might be similar.

Salad: 0 is not a low enough answer. I'm probably a
-10. :-o!! If I had my way, sweats (or their summer equivalent) would be the clothing du jour every day.

Happy Monday...

Favorite cartoon. Definitely Pop-eye. I even ate spinach because of him. Didn't like it, but I ate it.

New Pet...I'm planning on getting another German Shepherd as soon as ds leaves the house. (He wants a pug and I don't. lol) Her name may be Bravo, but I might pick something from Stargate instead.

Dressing up...an 8. I like it, but don't shop enough to have all the doo-dads I want. I'm glad I don't have to wear heels all the time.

Main course...Music? In the car? Not me, I'm a talk radio junkie. Local guys Ernie and Jay, Dave Ramsey, local sports guys. When forced, I choose oldies. Sigh.

Dessert...we bought an atomic clock two Christmas's ago. Very cool to never have to reset the time for day light savings.

Have a fine week!

Ahh, Deb, a Stargate name! Great idea. If I chose a Stargate name for a new cat I think it would be Adria (because I like the name even if the character is evil) or Vala (because I like the name and am greatly amused by the character). I have known a few animals in my day that deserved the name Richard Woolsey!

Now, if we were talking Stargate Atlantis, It would have to be Teyla for a girl cat or Carson for a boy. :-)

Appetizer: I liked Beverly Hills Teens, though I would probably be appalled now. I don't remember watching many cartoons.

Soup: I would get a rescued French Bulldog as a sibling to Mobi and name it Bocce.

Salad: 10 for getting dressed up; 3 for dressy occasions (you know, the social part ;)

Main Course: I listen pretty much to NPR all the time, but my fav road trip CD when there's no radio signal is Tom Waits, Nighthawks at the Diner

Dessert: I think it is the only one we have in our house, and I think my mom actually got it for me- with three different faces for different time zones. It's in Juan's study.
