Too funny. I am looking at updating my Minolta 35 mm camera with a digital. Any advice on where to shop?

Hubby, our camera shopper, says you need to determine if you want a service plan or not that covers accidental damage.
He recommends these online sites if you want to save $ and don't need a service plan:

Amazon's choices are often through Adorama
We chose to purchase locally from Best Buy. It was on sale and we wanted a service plan. The plan covers cleanings and with an slr camera you can get dust inside the camera and on the sensor because of removing the lenses to change them. This cleaning is covered in the plan.
