Wow! That first photo looks like a painting. Really beautiful colors. And I am with you on the comments. So many of my pictures have a story. Today I just added an addendum to my title to get away with it. But then again...in one picture my daughter is holding a shark. Wonder if anyone will ask about it... :-)
I love that first pic too! I can't take credit for it though, that's dh's work ;-)
These were all taken three years ago right about this time of year. All four of us were there for a month for dh's job. He is there right now. Everybody wave toward Taiwan! :-)
Wow, how beautiful! and I love the pink quince bush. We just moved to our house a year ago, and last spring my parents walked us around the property telling us what plants we have....we've never lived in a house long enough to begin any landscaping or gardening. I think they need to come back and visit, though, because I've forgotten what several of the plants were called (I don't think I have a natural gift for gardening, LOL!) and we would like to try to beautify the grounds this year.

A flame tree in Tainan City, Taiwan.
The blossoms
The tree
The quick watercolor nature sketch
You can see how it got its name :-)
Makes my lonely little flowering quince in the post below look a tad pale in comparison!
Psst: Is it cheating to put words in the comments on WW?!
lol... I think as long as the words are not on the post... it is wordless! *Ü* You are funny!
You have such a beautiful gift!
Lisa~ the other one *Ü*
Happy WW~
Take my breath away - I love the vividness of the first photo, and your "quick sketch" is exquisite. :-)
This is so beautiful! I love the glorious colours but the final watercolour just bowled me over. Wow!
Thank you for showing us these.
Happy WW!
I am off to have another stare at them...
The color is beautiful...I really like the first one.

Wow.
Just wow.
I love the photograph and I love your artwork. What pleasure it must give you.
I suppose a flame tree wouldn't grow in my climate....research needed....
Waving toward Taiwan. You'll have to ask him if he saw us. GRIN.
That is amazing! I've never seen anything like it. Beautiful painting.
